It...could've been better. Some guy started throwing up in one of the sinks(or maybe he was hocking loogies...it was gross either way) in the same bathroom that I was using. I was in one of the stalls so I couldn't see and honestly, I didn't want to. Before that, there was this rude, fat guy who might've been retarded(I'm on the autistic scale, I'm allowed to use the 'R' word) who smelled bad and wouldn't pull up his pants. If I wanted to see someone's crack, I'd go home, stand in front of a mirror, and pull my pants down. Seriously.
Aside from that I had a decent time. Found some cool DVDs I'll have to check out another time.

Time Only Moves Forward
I've been meaning to update my journal for over a year but couldn't find the words. I'm going to do my best for this one. In 2021 around October I caught COVID. I was too tired to shave my head at the time so I just stopped. I've got a full head of hair now and I've noticed some gray hairs around my temples. Fuck! My little sister graduated high school, and is now in college. Maybe someday I'll take classes to. I lost my aunt to cancer last October. It still stings, but it's getting better everyday. In some brighter news, I recently got myself a Fender Stratocaster as a 30th birthday present to myself. Fuck, I'm getting old! Speaking of which, last year was my 15th anniversary here on DA. I've spent half of my life here and still go on regularly. I've been posting almost consistently every two weeks for nearly 3 years. I've been meaning to write this journal for awhile now, but I didn't know what to say. Especially after the last journal. But it needs to be written, so here goes. Earlier in April(it was the 8th I think), we all received some terrible news. My step-dad was diagnosed with cancer. It started out as a mass in his stomach but spread to his brain. They couldn't operate to save him. They said he had about a month left. We visited him the next day. He was tired but coherent. We made sure to spend time with him when we could. The last time I saw him was at his trailer home. His older brother(one of my uncles), my older brother, his fiancee, my younger brother, and a few friends of his were staying with him. I visited him with my mom on what I think was the 13th. Or maybe it was the 14th. 15th? One of those days. Anyway, he was much sicker this time, and had to use a walker to get around. I was attacked by a pair of geese!
I was leaving Barnes n' Noble and heading past Johann's Craft store, when I was attacked by a pair of geese! They weren't super big, they had black heads and brown bodies and were about medium height (I was taller than them) and I was trying to walk away from them (you don't run from birds. They can fly faster than you can run) when they flew towards me! Knocked me off my bike! Good thing I bought a hard copy book otherwise I'd have nothing to defend myself with! I didn't kill them but I did get a few hits in (I punched one of them) and it got them to stop long enough for me to grab my book and bike and go back to BN to treat my injuries (nothing serious, I just scrapped my right arm falling of my bike). Next time I'm over there, I'm gonna be on the lookout for geese. As long as they know better, there won't be a round two.
2020 Sucked Ass
Last year was a disaster. It was, it's not an opinion that's up for debate. It's a objective, scientifically proven fact that last year was, in fact, a disaster. And while the year's over said disaster's still not done! But let's not dwell on that. It's a new year, a chance to clean things up and get ourselves on track. Last year I had a goal to do two digital illustrations per month, which wound up being a digital illustration every two weeks. And while it kept me consistently busy, it sucked underage donkey balls. EVERY TWO WEEKS! FUUUUUUUCK!! I gotta admit, a few of the pieces I made felt a little phoned in. With that said, I liked some of the stuff I came up with and I plan on doing more in the future...just not every two weeks! More like once a month, like I did in 2019. I'm also going to do a traditional Copic illustration once per month so I can play with my Copic markers and have an excuse to collect more! I usually color with colored pencils and i'm going to keep improving
